![]() ![]() Its also important to hold down *s* soon after to pitch up so you don't plummet into the ground straight after. You must run *shift*, jump *space* and a few seconds later when highest in the air press *f* to engage flight. To achieve flight you must hold shift during the whole 'take off' phase to achieve high momentum. The flight system in Day of Dragons is a bit different to what you would expect and is based off a momentum physics based system where you control pitch and speed while needing to keep momentum without stalling (similar to flying a plane in certain games) ![]() This can be done by jumping off a high mountain/hill or are dropped by an adult dragon who carries you high in the sky. Once you hit around 1/3 progress as a juvie (the orange bar at the bottom of your character panel shows progress) this is around the time that you gain enough strength to enable you to take off and fly even on flat ground.Īs a newborn hatchling you can not yet fly, however you can press f to glide down and feel the controls without the strength to fly up yet. ![]() To fly in Day of Dragons you must first be at juvie age.Īs a fresh juvie you can fly if you get enough air time and speed (you are not strong enough yet to take off on flat ground) so you will need to try and jump off steep hills or cliffs to achieve this. ![]()
